The Persian cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.), also known as mini cucumber, Lebanese cucumber and Beit Alpha, produces seedless or parthenocarpic fruits [6 and 14]. The fruits are short in length, dark green in color, sweet in taste and have a thin skin that does not require peeling to be consumed.
